
Program Description: this program provides the student with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to become a phlebotomist. The program consists of 64 hours of didactic and 40 hours of clinical practice. This program prepares the student for the State Licensing Exam to become a California Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT-1) and is approved by the California Department of Public Health. Admission Requirements: High school diploma or GED, Healthcare Provider CPR, Proof of immunization and a physical exam. Applications are accepted year round, you can make an appointment with the admission staff and complete the application on site.
